Shipping Policy

Every print, poster, canvas, mug, and garment in this shop is made for you. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting. When you place an order, your piece goes into production at a professional print studio, and then it travels to you. This page explains how long that takes, what it costs, and what to do if something goes wrong along the way.

1. Production time

Each item is printed, framed, stretched, or sewn after you order it. Production usually takes 2–5 business days [edit if your provider’s current average changes]. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

During busy seasons (November–December especially), production can take a few days longer. If you need something by a certain date, please order early or email us first and we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s realistic.

2. Shipping times

Shipping time starts after production is finished. Typical delivery estimates:

DestinationStandard shipping (after production)Express (if offered at checkout)
United States3–4 business days1–3 business days
Canada3–5 business days when printed in Canada (up to 12 to Atlantic provinces); 5–20 if shipped from outside Canada1–3 business days
United Kingdom3–7 business days (UK duties- paid service where available)1–3 business days
Europe (EU)5–20 business days1–3 business days
Australia, New Zealand, Japan, rest of world5–20 business daysVaries by destination

Total delivery time ≈ production time + shipping time. For example, a framed poster going to Detroit typically arrives in about 5–9 business days. These are estimates, not guarantees. Carriers sometimes run late, especially around holidays and on international routes.

Multiple items, multiple packages. Posters, framed posters, canvases, mugs, backpacks, and some other items are always packed individually to protect them, and products may come from different print facilities. A single order can arrive in several packages on different days. That’s normal.

Metal prints ship to the United States only [delete this line if you stop selling metal prints or your provider expands shipping].

3. Shipping costs

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the items in your cart and where they’re going. You’ll see the exact cost before you pay. [Optional: “Free US shipping on orders over $___.” Add only if you set this up in WooCommerce.]

4. Where we ship

We ship to most countries worldwide. For legal and carrier reasons we currently cannot ship to Russia, Belarus, Cuba, Iran, Syria, North Korea, Ecuador, or the Crimea, Luhansk, and Donetsk regions. If checkout doesn’t accept your address, email us and we’ll see what we can do.

5. Customs, duties, and taxes (international orders)

If your order ships from a facility outside your country, your local customs office may charge import duties, taxes, or handling fees when it arrives. These fees are set by your country, not by us, and they are the buyer’s responsibility. We aren’t able to predict or refund them. Where possible, orders are printed at the facility closest to you, which often avoids these fees.

If you refuse to pay customs charges and the package is returned, we can’t offer a refund for the item or the original shipping.

6. Tracking your order

When your order ships, you’ll get an email with a tracking number and link. If you ordered several items, you may get more than one tracking email. Tracking can take 24–48 hours to show movement after the label is created.

7. Late or missing packages

If your estimated delivery date has passed, please give it a couple of extra days, because packages are often just running behind. If it still hasn’t arrived 5 business days after the estimated delivery date, email us at abuqadim@artistabuqadimhaqq.com with your order number and we’ll investigate with the print studio and carrier.

Lost packages must be reported within 30 days of the estimated delivery date. After that, we can’t file a claim.

If tracking shows “delivered” but you can’t find the package, please check with neighbors, your building’s mailroom, and your local post office first, then contact us.

8. Wrong or incomplete address

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We’re not responsible for orders sent to an address entered incorrectly.

  •   Caught it early? Email us right away. If your order hasn’t gone into production yet, we can usually fix the address.
  •   Already shipped? If the carrier returns the package to us because of an address error, we’ll contact you. We can reship it once you pay the new shipping cost. Returned packages that aren’t claimed within 30 days can’t be reshipped. 9. Order changes and cancellations Because production starts quickly, we can only change or cancel an order before it enters production, usually within a few hours of ordering. Email us as soon as possible. Once production has started, the order can’t be cancelled. 10. Commissions, books, and originals
  •   Commissioned artwork: delivery method and timeline are agreed with you directly when we plan your commission. See Services/Sales (/services/).
  •   Books, comics, and original paintings sold on eBay: these ship from our eBay store and follow the shipping terms on each eBay listing: ebay.com/str/thedrexciyanempire. 11. Signed limited editions Our signed, numbered limited-edition prints are packed by hand and shipped by us, not by the print studio. They follow these terms:
  •   Ships from Southfield, Michigan within 5–7 business days of your order. For the first release, orders ship between November 28 and December 8, 2026.
  •   Free shipping within the US by USPS, with tracking emailed to you when your print ships.
  •   US addresses only for this release.
  •   12×12 prints ship flat in a rigid mailer. 18×18 prints and artist proofs ship rolled in a sturdy tube, protected by glassine. Each comes with its signed certificate of authenticity.
  •   If your print arrives damaged or never arrives, see the “Signed limited editions” section of our Returns & Refunds (/returns-refunds/) policy. Questions? Email abuqadim@artistabuqadimhaqq.com or visit our Contact (/contact/) page. We usually reply within [1–2 business days]. Last updated: October 2026
